General conditions of the chauffeur-driven car rental service

  • For chauffeur-driven car rental services, with the exception of transfers, a minimum period of 2 hours of hourly disposition applies.
  • For direct extra-urban transfers (without stops), the rate is calculated with a cost per kilometre.
  • Each passenger can carry up to ONE LARGE SUITCASE AND 1 BACKPACK, ANY EXCESS LUGGAGE E.G. SKIS AND EQUIPMENT MUST BE DECLARED at the time of booking, in order to avoid the car not being suitable for such transport.
  • It remains at the discretion of the drivers to load bulky objects that have not been declared or excess suitcases or suitcases that do not have the conditions for safe transport. (broken, dirty, wet suitcases, etc.)
  • Rome Royal Cab undertakes in every reasonable way to have its vehicles or vehicles driven by external collaborators arrive on time for the departure and arrival appointments at the destination, however it will not be responsible for delays due to causes beyond its control.
  • The cars are all recently registered and covered by insurance for themselves and for the passengers and in compliance with the circulation permits in force in Italy and in the E.E.C.
  • All vehicles are covered by R.C.A. insurance in accordance with current laws. The R.C.A. of the vehicles guarantees insurance coverage of Civil Liability towards third parties, including passengers, animals or things (excluding those transported) with a single and overall maximum at least equal to the minimum required by law. The Customer, when booking the Service, may in any case agree with Rete NCC Italia a higher maximum, in exchange for the payment of a supplement.
  • The customer is responsible for checking the correspondence of your baggage upon departure, responsibility for loss or damage cannot be accepted. ALL TRANSPORTED OBJECTS TRAVEL UNDER YOUR RESPONSIBILITY.
 
  • Rome Royal Cab cannot recognize any refund if the cause of the poor service depends on factors external to its organization, such as political events and unforeseeable demonstrations that objectively impede circulation, incorrect and/or non-existent addresses, unforeseeable road congestion, etc.
  • RomeRoyalCab reserves the right to change parts (or all) of these agreements at any time without giving notice to customers, members, tour operators or agencies.
  • The customer is obliged to report to us as soon as possible any problems arising from poor service or shortcomings directly attributable to our work. We will take action to quickly resolve any inconvenience and loss to the full satisfaction of the customer, using our contact channels and review links.
  • These conditions of transport and all the services connected to them comply with the laws that regulate this type of service in Italy, this guarantees the protection of the passenger and his baggage.
 
User behavior during the chauffeur-driven rental service
Users of the rental service are prohibited from:
 
  • smoking during transportation;
  • throwing objects from vehicles whether stationary or moving;
  • smearing, dirtying or damaging the vehicle;
  • demanding the transportation of pets without having adopted, in agreement with the rental company, all useful measures to avoid damaging or dirtying the vehicle;
  • demanding that the transportation be performed in violation of the safety and behavior rules provided for by the current Highway Code.
 
Right to cancel the reservation of the chauffeur-driven rental service and complementary services
  • The customer can cancel the reservation by writing to us, by phone, by sending an e-mail or via WhatsApp within and no later than 48 hours.

  • The cancellation of the chauffeur-driven rental service or complementary services, without penalty, is accepted within 24 hours before the service.
  • Cancellations received within 6 hours before the start of the service will incur a penalty equal to 50% of the service amount.
  • In the event of a cancelled flight or a delay of more than 30 minutes on departure, the customer is required to notify our reservations number to ensure the presence of one of our staff upon arrival. Failure to send the notice of delay or cancelled flight excludes the right to have the vehicle available in the event of a delayed or postponed arrival and a penalty of 50% will be applied.
  • The maximum passenger wait is 70 minutes from landing or disembarkation at the port, after which NO-SHOW will occur
Reservation management:
  • Reservations can be made through all the channels on our website, under 24 hours it is not possible to book from the website, because it is considered last minute. For this type of reservation it is necessary to contact us only by telephone
